White bleeding in the lower right but only really noticible when monitor is turned on without input. Not sure what is causing the snow. Using DVI cable that came with unit and OEM power supply (even though I said I didnt want to use it). New one not here yet and couldnt wait. Any ideas on the snow? Oh, and my 580GTX got me 60 FPS in World of Tanks with all settings at max except AA off.
UPDATE: as reported by other guys in thread, snow went away after pwr down/up. Didnt come back during two hours of gaming.

Nice. smile.gif

Running WoT in 2560x1440, all settings to maximum with AA and VSync off, same as I was with my Samsung 24" at 1900x1200. Was getting over 60 FPS at times and didnt see any blurring.

Yeah the popping was annoying so i disconnected the speakers from the dvi input board. What video card do you have? I requested replacement guts for my QNIX to see if the snow issue would be resolved, but... it's not. It's a whole lot better, as in it doesn't happen as much as the original board, but it still happens. I'm wondering if it's a video card issue.. I have a Sapphire 7950

The popping sound issue is actually a problem with most monitors with speakers.

Hey peeps.

I asked the seller:-
Do you have a 0 dead pixel policy or service on this monitor?
Is there any light bleed?

His response:-
Thank you for your interest in the products.
I am certified Microsoft MCP.
Pixel inspection before shipping the products.
We will ship products that are not defective pixels.

Not even real companies like Samsung, LG, Dell, etc guarantee zero dead pixels.

Even some top of the line monitors come with one or more dead pixels.

Don't worry about one or two dead pixels.

Just installed an EVGA Classified GTX680 to run my new QX2700 and it looks awesome. Now I've got a spare Asus Super-Overclock GTX580 (GV-N580SO-15L) lying around. Wondering if I can put it in my son's PC that has a Corsair vx550W PWS (42a on 12V rail). Asus recommends 750w minimum but most reviews I've read said the GTX580 pulls less than 400w at peak. His PC has a E8500 core 2 duo, optical drive, hard drive and 4gb memory, notthing overclocked with one fan in case. Any advice?
