Qnix QX2700 27" Korean monitor review - Page 3

Recieved mine in the mail today, and have to say that my experience is exactly the same as the OP's. No dead pixels, but some minor backlight bleeding on the lower corners. Not enough to notice on anything but a completely black screen. Stand is stiff, but bumps to the table it sits on would cause it to wobble slightly.

BigClothCraft seller was responsive and shipped timely. It was evident the box was opened and checked prior to shipping-- as stated it would be for the pixel perfect. The one complaint I had was some of the plastic protective cling stuff that is placed on the bezel of the monitor was actually caught in the bezel/housing itself. A slight annoyance, but if that is the most I have to put up with after saving $400...I'll take it! thumb.gif

I had that problem with the plastic in the bezel too (mine came two days ago). I also have quite noticeable back light bleed. It lights up most of the right hand side of the screen in scenes slightly dark, and there is a strange spot of brightness/discolouration at the top towards the right as well.

Otherwise it looks amazing and pixel perfect, but still annoying it isn't completely perfect! Amazing for the money though.

Hi there, I have been jumping from thread to thread on this forum and page to page on eBay with regards to the Korean Monitors. In anyone's opinion or experience, which is the best out of these cheerful babies? Qnix, matrix neo, etc. I want one now! biggrin.gif

This is the best thing since slice bread btw! tongue.gif

I can't speak about all the different models. I have the Qnix, and it has been great though. Decent, easily removable stand. No dead pixels and minimal back light bleed. My main concern was getting one that I could easily remove the stand if need be, since they all use the same model panel anyway.

It seems to boil down to if you want tempered glass, a reflective coating, or matte. Research which of these you'd like, find the monitor that meets it then find a repuatble seller that is providing that model. I'll have to put in a recommendation for Bigclothcraft if he ends up selling the model you're interested in biggrin.gif

Does the monitor show up as a QHD270 for anyone else in windows under display options etc for anyone else (a Shimian)? To be precise it shows up as 'QHD270QHD270QHD270'.

Here is my back light bleed. As you can see, it's quite bad.

That looks like IPS glow in the right corner to me, look at your display for 4ft/120cm back and see if it still looks like that.

That's possible, but it's only on the right, and is more noticeable than the bleed elsewhere. If all IPS panels have this affecting picture quality, don't know how professionals could ever use it. The top right spot of bleed seems strange to have though!

I will be looking to get the QNIX! That one seems to have what I need. Not sure of tempered glass. I don't really have sunlight crawling into my room and the qnix i want doesn't feature it. This matter?
