Hey all ...

I have asked for help numerous times in the mouse suggestion thread to no avail ... so I am starting a thread in the hopes someone can help me ... I have a few simple questions and a few mice to choose from ...

How much difference will there be switching from a laser sensor to an optical sensor ?

Would there be a huge difference between a 5600dpi laser mouse and a 5600cpi optical mouse ?


Which would be the best mice out of the following list for a guy with big hands and a claw grip ( I prefer soft buttons and use a hybrid hard pad )

On the first question - it very much depends on the usage. If you use a high-quality pad or any surface that has no problems with the optical sensor, there is no difference. However, on many surfaces where optical has trouble or doesn't work at all, laser is the king.
On the other questions - I have no idea.

Hey bud, have you decided yet? Im giving the Deathadder a go soon, and I have a Gigabyte ghost atm, i'll pop by here with my findings (was told that my gigabyte is a bad mouse for competitive gaming)
