Looks awesome Intel! I love the orange tubes, makes me nostalgic for my old socket A system sleeved in uv orange biggrin.gif And the orange stripes on the gpu shroud... Nice.

well my asrock extreme4 died and had to replace it so i got a asus rapage iv formula. PITA changing a mobo if your a watercooler. had to isolate gpu loops and cpu loops. anyway, pics are self explanitory.

A small crossfire issue I had that I couldn’t find any info about but I worked it out. When I installed the gpus into the RIVF I put them in pcie slots 1 and 2, as seen in the pics. The pcie slots on this board are 16x/8x/16x/8x which I didn’t realise at the time. So I tried out a few games and they were all messing up with weird lines flashing across the screen. So I read up on it and realise that for 2 cards u need them in 1 and 3 slots so I thought ok I just put the 2nd gpu in pcie 3. The pc wouldn’t turn on, it just didn’t do anything, so I started to cry a bit thinking I busted another board. Then I realised the pc is probly still trying to be in crossfire mode with the card in pcie 2. So I put the card back in pcie 2, it booted, then I disabled crossfire, shut it down, put the gpu in slot 3 and then it started! Crisis averted. Any way it was a disheartening 15 mins while I figured this out so hopefully this can help someone in the future biggrin.gif

Hi guys,

Thinking about putting my 120 rad outside my case after seeing what all yours look like and the tubing is a bit cramped in my case and just wondering what configuration have you put you fans in (intake/exhaust) also thinking about putting some fans on the plexi but sadly out of channels on my Lampton FC5.

Hi 1100 guys,

I'm gonna be taking a dive into custom water cooling for the first time shortly, CPU only at first as my GPU's don't get crazy hot unlike my CPU :-\
Now I have read some WC threads and I picked up a few great bits of info, but I want to check with a few seasoned WC experts if my current selection of Res, Pump, Rad, Tubing and Block are compatible.

Ok, so I will be cooling an i7 3770k on a Z77 Sabertooth in my 1100 case of course. I've *Cough* "Expertly" mapped out where the parts would go, but I'm unsure on a couple of things such as the pump and res placement, something in the back of my mind is telling me the pump needs to be above the res. Am I imagining this, or is this correct???

Here are the parts:

Rad = XSPC EX240 Crossflow Radiator
Res = Bitspower Z-Multi 150mm Water Tank
Pump = EK DCP 4.0 Pump (12v)
Block = XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock
Tubing = XSPC HighFlex Hose 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD, 19/12.7mm

Hey mate res is supposed to be above the pump wo its right in ur diagram. If u want to free up space look into 5.25" bay pump/res combos like mine.

@Bullet ive got mine as exhausting. It shouldn't matter tho. Its good to have positive pressure in ur case so dust doesn't come in the cracks
