A 550W could handle a 4100 with two 7850s at high efficiency. A build with a 7850 does not require a more expensive PSU when going with a still relatively low power 4100 over whatever other option. This is still easily manageable with a quality 450W, and there is room for overclocking. You're griping at straws! You're going to make him waste his money!
Hmm. Well, I stand corrected. Bulldozer has a reputation for taking quite a bit of power overclocked, and I knew that a fx-6100 or fx-8120 wouldn't be happy with a 450w power supply if you cranked up the wattage, so I assumed the same would hold true for the whole fx-series.
Running Phaedrus' power calculator: sure enough, it estimates 450w. Well, my apologies!

Not that it's a total disaster. The greens are nice, quiet little buggers. So at least he didn't get the Azza!
