Welcome, I have been a long time fan of MSI mainboard. Have been using them for as long as I can remember. For me they have been some of the best boards I have ever owned. I have been very happy with my MSI 890FXA-GD70 it has worked great with my FX-8120.

Wow glad OCN added the worst motherboard manufacturer they possibly could to their support list... MSI needs to know that many of the people of OCN want them to stop making motherboards that blow up. There is no excuse for their junk when it comes to motherboards.

I have no complains about their video cards though.

I've beat the hell out of my 890FXA-GD65 and I love it.

I love it more because of the MSI tech support.

Months after the AMD 900 series motherboards were released, they still supported BIOS updates for my 890FX board for Bulldozer compatibility, even though it was not officially supported by AMD.

I was having problems with memory overclocking, with the 1866 divider not working, and generally poor overclocking results. I contacted the MSI tech support and they send me a new BIOS. It didn't really help, so they sent me another, and another, ect, until finally they hit the nail on the head with a better BIOS and everything is gravy.

Four months of correspondence and 8 BIOS revisions showed me that they are dedicated to customer satisfaction.

This was my first MSI board. I'm usually a Gigabyte fan, and sometimes use ASRock and ASUS. I am also very satisfied with my MSI graphics cards.

I have no complains about their video cards though.

Obviously you never used one of their boards in the last 2-3 years or any of their Intel boards since they never had problems. Nowadays, they make top notch motherboards. thumb.gif
