I have stated the same before. Some are different I guess. My new mobo I purchased from them exceeded my expectations for the $.

Not necessarily just OCN, think of it this the video is like "llok at are awesome PWM stuff thingies" well why not also address advanced users, tell use what makes your new VRM better than the previous version or failures and how said components are better.

for an example "look at these new awesome transistors/VRMs they have a higher thermal limit" or " we only source the best transistors/VRMs because of such and such" Isn't bad video but, it lacks REAL detail, COME ON SELL ME REAL PRODUCT!!! Make me want to suggest MSI to my customers instead of telling them to stay away.

Marketing Ad's usually never contain those extreme details that the average user cannot differentiate with. I think they are doing exactly what youre talking about by putting MILITARY CLASS III components on every single box they ship out that has all those details on the back (better caps, etc). What more could you want? Hell, they even now come with a certificate saying "hey our board has been prime 24 hour tested at 4.7ghz stable" I mean come on. They are reaching out more than any other mobo companies in the private market imo.

I'm late to the party, but welcome to OCN! I saw MSI Alex post on another topic, which brought this to my attention. Me and my gf are rocking two MSI 660Ti gpus and lovin it. I love MSI support. ASUS support is awful. I wish they would get a clue from you guys. If MSI had released a slightly more robust m-atx z77 mobo. I would have bought that over my ASUS mvg without hesitation.

I look forward to having you guys on here!

I am a big MSI fan especially since purchasing my 990fxa-gd80 motherboard. I hope that nvidia gets off their back about their power edition cards and let MSI do what they do best--- provide stable power and let us use it! But, the reason I'm writing in now, is to ask some advice and/or direction. I recently switched my system from my sentey arvina case to my new Zalman Z11 plus case and it ran like a new cadillac prior to. When I pressed the start button, I smelled something weird and it shut off after about 2 seconds. I immediately unplugged the power and went to checking every connection, checked the standoffs for grounds, and mobo clearance to the case. I then noticed a burnt spot inbetween my cpu fan header and the first ram slot. I switched the memory to the 2nd and 4th slots and plugged the cpu fan into a regular fan header and VOILA' booted perfectly! I am, however, concerned about the burn mark and running my antec 920 off of a regular fan header. Any ideas? I didn't switch any ram, or reseat the h2o cooler during the switch, and was handling everything very gingerly during the switch.

"Marketing Ad's usually never contain those extreme details that the average user cannot differentiate with." Hence why they should make an "Ad" for us.

That is just advertising to me. Or would be had i not seen that video earlier. i would at the least make an attempt to get those videos of my own website and on to enthusiast web sites.

Yeah the fact they prime95 the boards is freaking awesome biggrin.gif Now how about making that info a little more accessible. After having my last board fry 3 time in a row you aren't gonna see me even thinking of going to their website. so if you gonna get some business back your gonna need to grab some attention.

MSI GPUs are F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C.
I've had 2 of them in the last 2 years, both of them had no problems, were open to large overvolt/OC margins via Afterburner, were suburb overclockers, and stayed quiet and cool through all operations. Luck of the draw partially, but I will continue to recommend good MSI products thumb.gif heck, I even got both my rebate cards back!

motherboards are a different story mad.gif
