What if I work outside in a mining pit for 12 hours a day 14 days straight, then have 14 days of a few hours at my PC?

So many studies like this don't include me..

 I've stand up for sometime when I knew myself I sat too long, I will feel uncomfortable and I tend to want to walk around as well.

I dunno. When I first started my job, after about three hours my feet would kill me. 3 years later, every other weekend I work open to close (14 hours x2) and usually don't take a break since eating makes me sleepy (plus my bosses love me for it biggrin.gif) and I feel like I can run a marathon afterward.

Standing in one spot really doesn't bother me (cash register), nor does unloading a truck on delivery days. I just think you have to get used to being on your feet all day period without being in pain.

I think that also depends largely on genetics, standing for more than an hour has always killed my back. But I can go play football all day and be just fine.

I miss the days at Retail

Used to walk miles a day just by pacing the same areas all day long. I can easily tell im out of shape compared to just 5 years ago since Ive been doing these desk jobs.

Stupid real world of business lol

I prefer to move aroudn while on th ephone, and I am on the phone alot.

But I can tell, My Back is always killing me now =(
