Hey, thanks for sharing that data. That's a pretty good collection of results, but your 4.0 GHz clock is way lower than what most FX chips are capable of. Do you have good enough cooling and motherboards to push it to 4.6GHz+? How about setting up Native Linux and V7? Are you pretty well versed with folding and Linux Distributions? The Team Competition consists of people pushing their overclocks to the limits to try and beat others. The data you shared is very useful, and I'm able to predict some things with it, but it's not enough for us to make any decisions.
VW, I'm pretty sure the FX 6 core will eclipse 20k or better when done properly, and that it would fit into Cat3. The 8 core is very unknown. I think it could likely end up being in Cat3 too which is rather disappointing considering it's an 8 core. Hey, we will get some more folks to help I'm sure. Let's just sit back and see what they come up with for us.
