Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.6V
$324.99

DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)
Timing 11-11-11-31
Cas Latency 11
Voltage 1.5V
$374.99

To be paired with:
- P9X79 Deluxe Motherboard
- i7-3930k CPU

As you can see, the cheaper memory by $50 has better timings and latency, at the expense of an addition 0.1V.

Are you benching and benchmark scores mean the world to you? If so, then get the better ones. If not, then get the cheaper ones, you'll never notice the difference in normal use.

Professional audio, where a single sample library can run 40 gigs.

Can somebody explain the tradeoffs between the differences?

Just wanted to see if there was a reason to justify this type of memory. What country do you live in? It'll be easier to pick out products if we know where you're located. There may be better choices for your system at a reasonable price.

I'm also debating 1600Mhz vs 2133Mhz.

Unless you're benching, there really isn't that big of a difference for most programs.
