according to wikipedia, MOS Technology 6510 @ 1.023 MHz. My brother gave me his C64 when he got his first PC, this was probably very early 90s. The C64 was done at that point but my brother had collected so many games for it it didn't matter that there were no new ones to buy.
my first PC Compatible, as they were often still called at the time, was a 486 DX33. mid-late 90s I'm thinking around 94 or 95
from there I went to an AMD that I think was 200MHz. A K6 I think? It was an upgrade to my 486 system, replaced the motherboard cpu, ram and maybe a few other things. This would have been the late 90s so I don't really remember. It was before I was comfortable building a system and before the days of all the online retailers and in my small town there weren't any component resellers. I had it upgraded at a computer shop. I still have this one but it was in the basement when I had sump pump issues and I think it got flooded. I also still have the original motherboard and 486 cpu from before the upgrade.
Next was the first full system that I assembled myself. Pentium 3, I think 500MHz but it might have been 600. I guess I could boot it up when I get home and check. as it is in my upstairs storage area and therefore survived the water issue
then came my P4, I think it was the 3.2GHz model
then the E7300 in my HTPC build
and finally the Q9550 in my current primary system
I also have a P4 Dell Inspiron 9100 with a 3GHz P4 . got it when dell had an awesome coupon, 50% off a $750 or more purchase. It was around the time I was thinking of building a new system and that price was so good I decided to get the laptop. I did a decent amount of gaming on it as it had an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 in it. I built my P4 desktop a while later when dell had another good deal on a desktop with lcd. it was cheaper than just the cpu and comparable lcd would have been on newegg so I used what I could from the dell and sold the rest on ebay.
And a netbook with an Atom N270 1.6GHz
