High CPU/"CPUTIN" Temps

Hey guys. Have HWmonitor and Speedfan, both recording a high temp on my "CPU" and "CPUTIN", which i assume are measured via same sensor.

I previously had Asus AI suite II installed and some people said that program had caused false readings, and has since been uninstalled. The main reason for that going however was when it said my Motherboard temperature was 125*C and caused me to have a damn heart attack (not literally, but you get the idea).

Anyway, is this really a heat issue? Or a malfunctioning sensor, or software problem?
Thanks

Edit: Apparently i moved or deleted the image off photobucket...
Anyway, on SF 4.46 and HW monitor cpu temp is around 74*C (fluctuates). Low load. Coretemp shows cores max temp going no higher then 31-32

Edit 2: My max temps on Aixtin, TMPIN3 are sky high too (127/163*C) yet idle temps are mid 20's atm. Whats going on?

Have you tried opening the case while the computer is running and touching stuff to see if it's actually that hot? Also, flash the BIOS to make sure it's good on the board. I had an ASrock board that would randomly report 30C over it's actual temps on all sensors and a BIOS flash is the instant fix for it.

Specifically touch (gently); the base of your CPU heat sink. The VREG (the heat sinks above, and to the left of the socket), the southbridge (heat sink below the socket) and the chipset (the heat sink by your sata ports).

Do any of them feel boiling hot?

I ran prime 95 and put my processor under max load and i cant get the same high temps showing in the program, i don't have time to investigate thoroughly at the moment but i will check it out properly when i get home this afternoon.

About a minute or two after noticing my 125* motherboard temp, and shutting as many programs down as i could, i checked the temp of the heat sinks and heat pipes on the motherboard. They where around 30-35*C ish (going by touch). So i will try flash the bios this afternoon if i get time.

Thank you for the input, I really appreciate help.

Updated the bios to a newer version and the temps all seem to be ok while running prime 95 and TPU GPU render test. Nothing other 40. The only one still high is "CPUTIN" at around 70*C, which is lower then before.
