Im assuming since i alrady have the build, no air cooling is what you are saying?
If so, ive read alot the the corsairs h80-100 leak.
So antec would be my next option if thats the case

Well, the Thermalright TRUE spirit 140 would probably fit since it's the same width as the Silver Arrow (normal edition, not the SB-E) which fits on your board.
Looks like they EOL'd the Archon pretty fast. Can't blame them, it was awful value for the money.

I don't think a lot of them leak, they're just very popular. And I don't think there's much quality difference between Corsair and the Antec. I think they both get their products from Asetek.

the Archon got just replaced by the Archon SBE, and it's actuially the best single tower cooler on the market btw. and no they are not the same width.

Archon SBE is wider yes, but the very first Archon (which I can't seem to find in their product list anymore, it's now either the rev. A or the TRUE spirit 140) was the same width as the Silver Arrow (= the width of a TY 140) . And the Archon was terribly overpriced in comparison to the silver arrow which performed better. The Archon Rev. A, Archon SBE and TRUE spirit 140 are all lower in price now.

Are you sure that it can beat even the newer Ven X?

yes the Archon is better due to more surface area. One thing though: the Archon is designed for 140mm Fans. So the Ven X is the better choice if you Plan on using High speed 120mm Fans. the Archon is also bigger wich means it doesnt Fit in a lot of cases and makes Problems on some boards that Do use the First PCIe slot.

the new Ven X is just a downgraded Version of the old Ven X as far as build quality goes: exactly the same Design, Same surface area, 6 heatpipes, but no soldering, worse Mounting kit etc...
eventough i havent tested it myself yet i See no reason why it should be better than the old one...

Not trying to be pedantic or anything but I prefer giving people the right specs.
Sorry but Thermalright spec of 160mm is false.

TY-140/141/143/147 area all 151x141x26.5mm
