Coming in North America on September 11 and in Europe on September 13, the Battlefield 3 Premium Edition is the ultimate Battlefield experience! Combining the original Battlefield 3 game, all Battlefield 3 Premium content including five themed digital expansion packs, and a Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Head-Start Kit that is custom-designed to help jump start players who are new to multiplayer by automatically unlocking 15 different weapons, gadgets and vehicle upgrades. Battlefield 3 Premium Edition delivers more than 25 maps, over 70 weapons and vehicles and dozens of unlocks and upgrades, making it the perfect entry point into one of the top shooter games of this generation. At $69.99 it's an unbeatable value compared to purchasing all this great content individually at a cost of well over $100.

Enjoy!.

This ticks me off.....not only did I spend $50 on the BF3 LE, then I shelled out another $50 for Premium. Now from what I find out, this is gonna cost $69 when it's all said and done. This is downright screwing your loyal players.

But on the other hand, I have been playing BF3 LE since last October, then just opted in April for Premium. So it's only $30 swing for several more months of play.

People should see this coming by now. It happens with most games that focus on post-release content.

Soooo excited for Aftermath. I really hope they do mid-game quakes like they mentioned a while ago. biggrin.gif It's a shame that they didn't show more about Aftermath.

I kinda think they have to do this. The game is slowing down. Big maps are too big/half empty for consoles and the small maps are sometimes too small for pc gamers/BF Vets.... BlOps 2 is coming; they have to do something.

That's how I see it.

Also, like moocowman said: I think we all know all this stuff goes on sale at some point. I've gotten every penny's worth out of BF3 so I'm fine with this--still enjoy the game. A night map in AK, too? bigeyedsmiley.png

They should have handled that issue a bit better who those that had LE. But so far I have been enjoying BF3. Can't wait for the next exp packs...

£39 in the UK....

Basically 24 new maps, a poop load of weapons/vehicles for the same price as it released for.

Not bad for the newcomers.

They should really drop the price on Premium now. It would be extremely stupid to have both at the same price like they do on Origin just now.

as someone who didn't want to buy premium but broke down and did buy it, I don't like this at all. EA screwing over the BF players to make a couple more sales.....DICE failed when they sold out to EA...
