Internal light bars in the tower.

post #1 of 5

I recently found this site that sells light bars and I am thinking about getting one to put into my tower.
[=http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9968/lit-183/Logisys_12_Inverterless_True-Color_CCFL_Light_Bar_-_Frontal_180_Lighting_-_True_Red.html?tl=g6c451s1145#blank][/]
Here's the link but my dilemma is I do not know what I am getting in to color wise I know I want to do either red or blue.

Thank you in advance for the help, I also am gonna search the forums later when I can get to a computer.

What is your dilemma, not knowing what colour to pick? Knowing what components and case you currently have would make it easier to give an answer but it is completely down to personal preference and at the end of the day it's your computer, you shouldn't really need others to tell you what colour you like better lol

No not what color decided on blue I mean help with how you would have to wire them up to the power source in the computer, mounting them to the tower, and the different types if there is a brand better then another etc..

Sorry for the confusion will have to learn to word my posts better lol

*Edit sorry forgot to post my tower it is a DiabloTek Diamond ATX Mid-tower Case with a 400 watt power supply.

It's no problem was a little confused as to what you were asking thumb.gif

Check those out. It comes with a remote to change brightness/colour, would be easily mounted into your case and means that if you ever wanted to change your colour scheme you wouldnt have to fork out any extra cash on different lights. You could even use one and stick it behind your monitor as a backlight, I've seen it done on here and it looks awesome.

(This is not my photo and I hope bjgrenke doesnt mind me using it, just wanted to show how nice it looks)

After a quick search around youtube this video shows it mounted inside a case and as you can see it does a very good job of illuminating the interior.
Hope this helps,
Stu
