I m leaning towards this idea but I'm confused as to how you hook up the rocketm2. Does it plug into one of the ethernet ports on the router? Additionally would I have to buy some antennas for it or does it come with some?
Yes, you just plug it into one of the LAN ports on the router (through the PoE adapter if the router doesn't support PoE, which it probably doesn't), then you can log into the Rocket from a PC and set up all there is to set up.
You have to buy the antennas separately, but like I said, this is cheap stuff. Check the previous post for suggestions.
