IMHO, the Sony Vita was just a response to the PC crowd who only cares about hardware specs, and form-over-function (content) games *cough* crysis *cough*. A large amount resources to make a current-gen handheld, but totally lacking in decent software to take advantage of the horsepower. That makes me sad.
Maybe it's because I'm almost 30, and growing up with the Apple II, Atari, & NES instilled the mindset of wanting games with content. Sure, graphics are nice and all, but not most important to me. Heck, I'll still play Mario64, and quite often, just because it's an awesome game and offers me higher entertainment value than newer games like Crysis and Metro 2033.
However, I do think the Mass Effect series is EPIC.
