+1 on the open world thing

I'd love to just live in the game, at a certain point I don't need to progress the story anymore

And GTA doesn't really offer what Mafia has

Me too. I love that time period and would give anything to live in that time period. Agree GTA doesnt immerse me like mafia does. Oh and i like your avatar. IT Crowd. Such an awesome show.
