If I put my mouse in the lower right hand corner it does nothing... my taskbar is on the top of my screen. biggrin.gif

Now think about this. It took some here years to figure out these things for Windows 7. Can you imagine anyone trying to figure out Windows 8? Even I had to google key combinations/shorcuts so that I could get around that thing.

Very useful actually when in game, especially when it hangs and you need to kill the process fast.

Trust me, it will come in handy.

I went looking for it after I got tired of having to select if from Windows 7's options screen (which in itself is a useful feature). I used Ctrl+Alt+Del ever since Windows 95, and the Ctrl+Shift+Esc is actually a very nice replacement since it keeps the same philosophy of having to press three keys which are all in the same row. And the fact that the Ctrl and the Shift key are close to each other and then the Esc key is farther apart, is very akin to the way the Ctrl and the Alt key are (before Windows 95 there wasn't even any Windows key between them), and then the Del key being farther apart.

You are so wrong. There are times when you can't right click the taskbar. When fullscreen games crash, for example. Or, when you have to bring up the Task Manager to close the Windows Explorer (which makes the taskbar disappear) some times because it becomes unresponsive and the only way to bring it back without rebooting is to run explorer.exe from the task manager.
