well, of course the S3 is great, but what the Nexus gives you is worth the slight drop in performance (android is just now starting to properly support dual cores anyway) ..such as more attention from google since its their flagship Nexus phone ATM, coming with vanilla ICS preloaded with an out of the box OTA update to jellybean, and then you have the ease of rooting and flashing. (seriously the nexus is the champ here)

Yeah I am failing to see the point of Windows RT over Android. At lease android is compatible with other Android devices.

I guess you get the Office 2013 out of the box which means no more dodgy apps on Android and iOS to view your Office-on-desktop spreadsheets! Hoorah! But that's about the only thing I can think of... LOL

Before anyone else says that he will install windows 7 on the RT tablet, be sure to know about the processor architecture. This tablet does not run on an x86/x64 based processor. Applications are coded in x86. You would have to recompile them to work with the ARM processor. You could also use an emulator if you're really that desperate however given the overhead for emulation and the processing power of x86 vs ARM, you're like playing Crysis on an SNES.

TL;DR, ARM makes it impossible to run normal windows and its applications.

The only incompatibility you'll see is applications and drivers that haven't been recompiled for ARM. All of the underlying functions and file formats will (or at least SHOULD, barring any hardware decode issues) remain consistent with the x86 versions of Windows. You're trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill, here.

My understanding is that if a program works on windows xp,7 or 8. It will not run on RT.
