Overclock Failed - Please reconfigure BIOS

Hi everyone.

Newbie here. I've been reading a big chunk of guides on this forum and am positive I have this down right, but for some reason no matter what changes I make in my BIOS, to either my Multipliers, vCore, or NB, all end with the same message.

Overclocking Failed! Please reconfigure BIOS.
Press F1 to start BIOS.
Press F2 to set BIOS values to default and continue.

Changing everything back to Auto allows my system to boot. Any help would be appreciated.

PS: I have Black Edition. Stock is 16.0x and I merely tried upping the multiplier to 16.5x. (I've also tested it with different values in just the multipliers section and with vCore and NB changes as well. Cool'n'Quiet is off.

First off, what type of CPU are you using? It's possible you simply do not have an unlocked CPU. Secondly, what Motherboard are you using? Was the Pc built custom or did you order it from a company?
