Sensei / Sensei raw vs G9X

Thread Starter
Well after a while with my r.a.t 7 it has finally given up.

Had alot of tracking problems and fixed it from time to time, couldn't get it working on any cloth pad.
Anyways this isn't about the rat 7 sorry.

Was going to get the g600 for gw2 coming up but hearing a few problems with jittering etc

I want good tracking, after being subjected to the twin eye lazer.

So with that in mind what would be better, the G9X or the sensei/raw.

I hear great things about both, I have never been with logitech for mice before tho so no idea.
Tho I do have a pair of logitech speakers that are 4 years old and still going strong =p

If you say the sensei, would the raw be just as good but without the built in lcd/firmware.

Claw gripper - fps/mmo's etc etc blah blah

The Sensei is better in some ways, and worse in others. The Xai had perfect weight balance and good materials. The Sensei has an annoying, metallic finish, heavier weight, and worse weight balance. The Sensei & Xai buttons are also harder to press down than normal, Logitech ones.

Having said that, it does seem like I perform better with the Steelseries mouse than a G9x in FPS games. The tracking just seems a bit better and the shape is better. Might want to try the Sensei RAW instead since it has a non-annoying finish and lighter weight.

I'm currently using a G400, has an annoying shape, but the sensor at 800DPI 500/1000hz is perfect.

I used a Sensei from launch day until yesterday which I replaced with a g9x at frys. Hand was really starting to hurt after hours of gaming sessions (yea I might be a sissy I know) I do have smaller hands though. I have found the g9x to be a lot more comfortable to me because of its small size. Works great for my claw/palm grip style. Lots of nice options you can tweak to it. I like how you can push the scroll wheel to the left or right and those are both programmable buttons!

I really loved the Sensei a lot. I can also tell Ill like the g9x a lot too. Gl on your choice. Either is a solid choice

if you actually played fps games, you should not be getting a g9x or a sensei, they have bad sensors. get a g400, zowie AM, deathadder, wmo, or intellimouse3.0

Not trying 2 threadjack ... but I am in the same situation the OP is in ...

Sensei Raw vs G9x vs DA 3.5

Why do you say that we should stay away from this sensor ?
