People who play FPS's never want prediction or acceleration. People who play RTS games don't care if mice have it or not and sometimes prefer it.

So if you're a FPS gamer accel and prediction is something you don't want in a mouse, especially if it costs a lot.

tbh, a lot of people don't care regardless of what they play. There are people that legitimately have issues, but a bulk of the population feeds on what other people say.

No offenses to sujoy, but it can be considered outdated. I look at things from a different perceptive.

Thread Starter
I ended up going with the Death adder black edition against my better judgement.
For the sensor alone tbh, it comes so highly recommended

I am rather nervous about the build quality tho, that's why it wasn't in my original post. I had the razer black widow ultimate that broke within a few weeks and sent back and got a cm storm quikfire that I love now.
Also have razer megaldon 7.1's and they are a pain in the behind to get working. I mean I spent entire days trying to get them to work everytime I would do a fresh install.

Oh well, I am sure it will live up to it's high name.

I prefer my Sensei and My Sensei Raw over my G9x, and my Rubberized Sensei raw over my Original SS Sensei cause of the feel.

I have a keyboard from razer. I haven't used it in so long I forget the name of it but it was their first backlit gaming keyboard and it's quality is really bad. Hence why I haven't used it in so long. Their mice are built differently though, I haven't had one die or fail or even malfunction on me yet over several years. The last razer mouse I bought was the original mamba.

EDIT
It was the razer lycosa keyboard. NOT recommended to anyone.

OP is a claw gripper, looking for a mouse for guild wars 2. Which probably means he'd like a couple extra (useable) buttons as well. Go with the G9x. You can't claw a sensei, and it only has 3 useable programmable buttons (forward/back on one side since you can't use the ones on the opposite side easily, and the wheel button).

Meanwhile, the G9x has 7 programmable buttons and the precision shell is great for claw, one of the few out there.

Sensors are about the same on both of them.

Seems pretty clear to me...
