Hmm, i see, thank you.
So the brown keys will not be bothersome in keys that require WASD for moving? i found the mx blues to be quite annoying here and double tapping is bothersome too.
That wasnt my type of key, but if the brown feel really minimalistic in the bump i think ill give it a shot

The blues bump is much more defined feeling for sure. Browns are easier to press over the bump and the bump is smoother/not as sharp feeling.

okay thanks that is informative, if i can go over the bump gradually, it will probably not bother me in games.

Both switches are amazing at games, especially compared to blues or domes. Red vs Brown all depends on yourself, reds are much easier to press compared to blues and makes a lot less sound. Browns give a bit of a tactile bump and is better for typing as it feels more satisfying to type for long periods at a time without giving that over-exaggerating clack that you get from blues.

You will not have any double clicking issues with browns or reds, best if you can try both before finalizing your purchase. I prefer reds because I can game on it all day without my hands getting tired at all, especially games that require a lot of button pressing such as SC2.

Ok, I see, so the brown key is not annoying to constantly go over like it is with the blues?

Because with the blues it bothered me that the key needed to be fully released which is suboptimal for wasd heavy games.

Can someone give me some more info on the feel of the blue keys? Will they tempt to get stuck if you go over them constantly in E.g. a racing game?

I'd love to know this.

I have a filco ninja and love it. I had the Corsair K90 and the keys were Red (the ones that where mechanical were lovely), for typing slightly nicer than the browns. However I don't notice the bump anymore - possibly due to the way I type. I bottom out all the time and don't really care. the browns feel great, but the reds were nicer.

I play BF3 all the time!

hmm if you can play bf3 with browns without being bothered...
that sounds nice

thinking about it I actually like that I can notice the bump when depressing slightly, I wouldn't miss it.

For me the browns and reds are the only keys I like. I've played Battlefield on both and can't noticed a difference. Maybe to begin with the bump is a positive, maybe I subconsiously do benefit from it. I was rubbish with the Reds and I'm still rubbish but that's a different story smile.gif - after 180hrs I need a new game I think!
