Upgrading CPU + Motherboard, looking for a good mobo for $100-150

Hey guys, I'm planning on upgrading my 2500k to a 3770k.

I am looking to possibly upgrade my motherboard especially for ivy bridge and I am looking at an asus one. So, I am looking for suggestions!

I don't really know much about mother boards and I'm not even sure if it is worth upgrading, but from what I have heard... for ivy bridge you need a newer released motherboard.

My personal setup is Sabertooth z77 and i7 3770k. Rock solid no issues yet.

To take advantage of PCI 3.0 yes smile.gif

Sabertooth is out of your budget but great board .. maybe this fits your budget

Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H - my personal choice in that price range.

I would not bother upgrading, unless you have problems with your board.
