Windows 7 will not load after fresh install (SOLVED)

I initially had Windows 7 installed on my Dell Inspiron 6400 with no problems. I unfortunately installed Windows 8 Release Preview without creating a new partition, so I lost my previous Windows 7 installation. After I realized I did not prefer Windows 8 right now, I decided to re-install Windows 7. After setup had completed, the OS loads to the desktop and automatically reboots. After seeing the Dell loading screen, it then goes to the normal blinking cursor screen before it boots windows. After that, it loops back to the Dell loading screen. What could have possibly happened to make Windows 7 not boot? Is it possible to get Windows 7 back?

Your machine doesn't support 64bit. Are you installing 64bit windows7? (Disregard if this is the same copy you initially had installed before Win8))
Make sure to wipe the drive when you install a new install of windows 7
I would also try reinstalling one more time.

Solved. I looked at Sean's SSD & HDD Troubleshooting and figured out that i needed to restore Windows 7 Master Boot Record.

Cool, I wasn't 100% clear how far you were getting in your boot up to catch that.
You said you got to desktop once, which was probably from the install. The blinking cursor is when it's searching for the MBR to figure out which OS to load.

Just for future reference, it could also be because the boot options are not on hdd first, as it could be searching cd\usb and other drives.
