So lucky that corsair sent you those speakers, I have owned them for about a year and it is the one thing about my pc i probably love the most redface.gif
post #102 of 207
The second system what will it be? Will it be both systems 1 loop or each system will have its own loop?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
One question l3p the koolance 24v for the pumps does it make any diference in the temps or is it just for the "wow" ? I will run two d5 with the koolance 452X2 in my tj07 13/10 hose one phobya gcharger 480, a phobya 240 and an ek 240, the loop is cpu, ram and a gpu in one loop biggrin.gif.
Will i see any difference to give the koolance 24v a try or not?
I hope that the second system will be somehow different, like a Z77 mobo or something. biggrin.gif
post #104 of 207
It is bound to be seeing that he uses a 1500W PSU for his first setup and a 620W for his second.

Maybe one for gaming and one for folding ^^

Well it seems the koolance controller is actually meant for the 50W Koolance pumps.
You don't see a big difference, just a bit, so for temperatures with a standard loop it will have almost no difference.
I'm using it since I still had it and looks cool biggrin.gif

The first inspection of the desk.
This was so important for us, some times I forgot to take pictures for the buildlog.
Here are the first issues I walked into, we're human too smile.gif
(All these things have been changed in the new design)

Again this is a real old design of the legs, still had to test some stuff for the acrylic.

1.JPG

2.JPG

3.JPG

A weld at the top of the desk .. oops, the cover wont fit like this..

4.JPG

And a funny one .. the holes and grommets for tube or fillports to big.
This should have been changed but slipped through.

5.JPG

Without a grommet the fillports fall through.

6.JPG

I'll find something on that for now.

7.JPG

Also a funny one, after assembling the supports they aren't horizontal.

8.JPG

PSU mount fits almost every PSU ... except this one smile.gif.

9.JPG

HDD trays really look good, personally won't use them in this build.

10.JPG

When I removed them.. oops .. no covers.

11.JPG

Also raised all fan/rad holes, more space for cable management.

12.JPG

And me as the only European in the team.
Off course the other side of PSU plug fits, but for in case people want to have their power socket inside.
Sometimes pretty exhausting... "what if they"... smile.gif

13.JPG

Personally going to use these instead of the PSU mount. Less noise and easy to move.
We will supply these too.

14.JPG

Inspecting the desk, best is to just start building a pc inside.
So lets start with the fans and rads.
For this setup I needed over 160 bolts and nuts smile.gif

15.JPG

Back rads.

16.JPG

17.JPG

18.JPG

19.JPG

Side rads.

20.JPG

21.JPG

Lighting not overdone, I like the Cooler Master fans.

22.JPG

Another way to feed your PC.

23.JPG

Lets take care of some working light smile.gif

24.JPG

25.JPG

26.JPG

And installing some grommets.

27.JPG

28.JPG

Here I was still planning to do a single pc build, still had all the space for 2 fan controllers.

29.JPG

30.JPG

Pump controller from previous project for the looks smile.gif

31.JPG

Rads seem to be brown with flasher on.

32.JPG

Had a spare fanguards, might be nice to keep it there.

33.JPG

This is something I'm REALLY happy with in the design.
In my previous desk it took me dozens of hours cause I didn't have this.

34.JPG

35.JPG

The first cables.

36.JPG

The bridge also has mounting options for 12x2.5" HDD/SSD.
Personally I'm not going to hide them. smile.gif

37.JPG

And the rubbertape for under the glass panel that will be used to protect from scratching, breaking and noise.
