Is it worth getting something like this if you are using Logitech G35 headset?

The Logitech G35 connects via usb and has it's own built-in sound card. As such this card would be completely useless

I bought one as well. 119.99 on US amazon. -.-

I'm assuming this is better than the X-Fi gamer correct? lol. I think mine is about to crap out. Either that or it's my speakers finally dying.

Oh yes, sorry, the Z uses the CS4398, but, for all intents and purposes, doesn't it and the one in the Titanium HD perform exactly the same?

And congrats on your purchase, biggrin.gif Hope it sounds awesome thumb.gif

Replying to Skylit, quotey thing didn't work!!

Ok, guys quick review for the moment, summary in one word - Brilliant smile.gif

Painless driver install, control panel is well laid out and works well. Can't see anyone been unhappy with the sound quality. The positional audio in games is scary. You can locate where the sound is coming from whether it's above or below, behind a wall or whatever.

I understand that they are at a different price point, but, The Z is way better than the Xonar DG for everything.

One good feature that I like in the control panel is the speaker setup. You can select from Stereo, 5.1, headphones and stereo direct. You can switch between each one and it will remember what you have them setup as. You can also toggle between headphones and speakers.

I can try to answer any questions you might have, and will try to post more information later.

Yeah. I tried a recon3d and while I found it amazing for gaming, I wanted something a little better in terms of SQ. This card basically solves that dilemma, though I'm still worried about SQ a little bit. Elite pro was built as a cream of the crop high end device ;o

If SQ is simular to the elite pro, I'll prob praise this card up down and all around.

Just been listening to some music, high quality music, Pink Floyd's The divison Bell and Dire Straits both DTS 5.1 SACDs They sound great, Also tried Kings Of Leon- Because of the Times CD and it was perfect. Going to try Jean Michael Jarre's Aero next and after that The Crystal Method- Vegas.

While listening I have been playing with the SBX Pro Studio settings, trying songs with Suround and Crystalizer enabled and disabled and trying various levels of each. For some music these work really well, for others though not so good. They are very easy to trick around with.

I haven't heard the Elite Pro, so I can't comment, but, I really think you will love the sound quality.
