Yeah, no problem, I have a pretty good speaker setup, but you might not have heard of them. I use XTZ 99.25s for the fronts and center, the XTZ 99.23WMT's for the rears. I have a sub amp 1 DSP connected to a 99W 12.18P Subwoofer.

You can look at them here, the speakers, for example, use ribbon tweeters and Seas Excel drivers.

I have a Pioneer SC-LX 81 receiver.

MY headphones are a modded pair of JVC HA RX900's.

While listening I have been playing with the SBX Pro Studio settings, trying songs with Suround and Crystalizer enabled and disabled and trying various levels of each. For some music these work really well, for others though not so good. They are very easy to trick around with.
I haven't heard the Elite Pro, so I can't comment, but, I really think you will love the sound quality.

What games have you played with it so far? Have you had any freezing/crashes/bosd's etc during gaming?

I have these head phones...

http://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-Crossfade-Over-Ear-Noise-Isolating-Headphone/dp/B003BYRGJU/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1352318402&sr=1-3

How much will I notice if I go from onboard to this new sound card?

imo, soundcards are only worth getting when you get into the higher echelons of speakers/headphones. I run my Alesis Monitors through a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB, lovely bit of kit that I picked up for £120, 2 preamps that give that really rich and warm analogue sound, power my Beyerdynamics well too smile.gif

My inlaws are visiting my brother in law in USA

I will be ordering one of these soundcards to replace my XFi Titanium.

If I had the HD maybe I could have kept it but I believe I will upgrade my regular Xfi Titanium to this model.

I need to replace my speakers though.

You don't get the benefits of virtual surround though from X-Fi/Xonar/Z series cards though.
