GPU Block for Gigabyte HD7970 OC Windforce 3x

basically what the title states, what would be the best block to use for that GPU, i am completely new to watercooling and i got told i need to have a reference 7970 so does that mean i cant watercool mine ?

hmmmm...what I think that matters the most is the PCB of the GPU...all of AMD cards are reference cards, companies like Sapphire, Gigabyte etc pre - overclock the card for you and apply an aftermarket Fan& Heat sink for you...

So what Im trying to say is, Yes i'm sure a specified 7970 water block will work on the "reference card"...

Check out frozencpu for the water blocks...im going to be going for this block "Aquacomputer aquagrATIx for HD 7970 (Tahiti XT) G1/4"
