well first i would torch it to make it bubbly then i would sand it down and uses epoxy then buff it but hey its not always successful

A couple drops of crazy glue is all you need. It will seep into the cracks sealing it.

Just in case though I should probably put some crazy glue on there. Do I just drop it on top of the cracks? On the inside or outside?

It's not ghetto. That's how you quickly fix acrylic. Put some drops on the outside, let it dry. Done.
Btw leak testing like that isn't very meaningful because there is no pressure. Once the loop o is filled and there is pressure, you will know lol.

It will most probably wont leak as it is. Crazy glue wont hurt but then again I doubt is will do much good either. I'd say use it for now but start looking for a replacement just to be safe.

If you have the original invoice, you could send it back for rma and get a new one. Those things have gone thru more than a few revisions. That said most cracks are due to over-tightening.
