just grabbed 43" Samsung - PN43E450 - Plasma TV - 720p for bedroom cause the 32" died the other dead, got it for $330 at sams club. only 720p, but my god does it look great for everything from HD movies to blu rays. best part is can play any encode video file on usb stick such as 720p h.264 files. super happy

720p on Plasma is not the same as 720p on LCD/LED.
Panasonic was a go TV, for both Plasma and LED, do not know if it still is.
Samsung and Sony are worth a look.

I got this tv for my sister it was a shot in the dark but so far it has been working great. It has a great picture quality for an edge lit led tv, enough hdmi connections and the color on it is amazing. It is only 60hz and no name brand but for the price I haven't seen better.

Edit: Oh and its 1080p biggrin.gifrolleyes.gif
