Division help

Ok, I'm experimenting with calculations, and I need to manually implement a division method that scales for very large numbers.
Unfortunately, everything related that I find on the internet about "large numbers division" only concerns the case where your divident is a large number (6 digits +), but your divisor is an ordinary number (3 digits max).
The case where the divisor is larger than the dividend seems ignored everywhere. Also the case where both numbers are quite large (10 digits +).

I found an article on Fourier division, whose descriptions seemed promising for solving my problem, but the explanation on how to actually carry out the division lacks a lot in clarity.

I found an article on "1-2-4-8" division, but it includes multiplication of the divisor, and in some scenarios that might go beyond the max allowable value, and I'd like to avoid that.

So, hit me with any methods for division you might know.
(ordinary Long division gets pretty complex if the divisor is large, so that's a last resort)

The previous language I was using (Ada 95) had long long integers inplemented in the programming.

A regular integer takes a 32-bit number ( −2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647)
while a long_long integer takes a 64-bit number (−9,223,372,036,854,775,808 to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807).

It is possible to get up to and past 128 bit numbers (39 digits long), but I don't have expereicne with that as I just used a 64-bit number for a Collatz Injector.

Give this a read as to what languages support what.
