is this for intel SSD only?
Finally. Now they just have to catch up with LSI's onboard controller on that ASRock board. I want to be able to string 5+ SSDs together in RAID 0 for epic transfer speeds.

Only for the z77 chipset, not x79 or any other yet. I don't use SF drives so I could care less one way or the other.

I'm running the Intel RST 11.2.0.1006 now on my Asus P6T V2 X58. Only problem is that I need to get the new option rom update (which I have) into bios and loaded.

I've tried several times but no luck so far. Won't get trim, but hoping to squeeze out a bit more performance

Maybe I'm anti-RAID, but unless your running an LSI card, it would be dumb to run RAID 0 using onboard motherboard solutions.

You'll simply end up having slower boot times (almost up to 10 seconds sometimes, from a cold boot only), and more problems than not.

yeah because boot times is the only advantage of doing RAID.

I was about to upgrade to the latest drivers (no need to), then I thought, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
