Question for Nexus 7 owners

Thread Starter
I'm looking at the Nexus 7 for a future purchase. I need a PDF reader/viewer. From what I could find out, the Nexus 7 does not have a
PDF reader/viewer out of the box. Can I take it that there is an App available for this?

Somewhere, while browsing for info, it was mentioned that the Nexus 7 could not handle playing videos smoothly. I'm into videos from U-tube. Can these be played smoothly, as in streaming?

i have a nexus 7 right now. there is a adobe app you can use to open .pdf if you want.
there are tons of pdf apps u can use if you cant find it XD.
documents to go is great.
also the nexus 7 cant play MKV files right ( no sound) if you use the traditional mx player or something fancy. the only one that would work for mkv files are VPlayer (but it takes up alot of space since it buffers)- but cache cleaner would do the trick :]

video playback is smooth for me.
not sure what they mean by videos not playing smoothly streaming wise, but its all good to me.

Video works great. Youtube app works great for me (comes loaded on N7) and mx player works AMAZING for playing any video you load on your nexus 7

Videos play great, I am only having problems using the twitch.tv app which is not streaming properly but that is the app's problem not nexus's.

Swyped from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

No SD card, limited storage, no hdmi out, not very loud mono speaker, and no gorilla glass. Only real complaints I can think of, and none of them really bother me very much, though I would use hdmi out ALL the time for hbo go if it had it frown.gif

All said the nexus 7 is still the king of 7 inch tabs imo.

With the rumors of a 32GB model possibly coming out shortly, that should take care of some of the storage issues. I'm currently waiting to see what comes out before christmas before making a purchase but the Nexus 7 is definitely the front runner at this point.
