Then its razers fault for having rather poor ID on older designs. What you're distinguishing sounds like a comparison of PC to ABS. One is neither better nor worse, but used for different purposes.

I'll generally agree with this, but I can't really say anything bad about the Taipan. The design work is amazing.

You are right the lachesis had thin walls and that's obviously going to make it less sturdy. I guess it would have been more accurate to say build quality rather then plastic quality but I wanted to make it clear I was talking about the shell and not the switches and electronics.

Well my 2 Deathadders got atleast the same quality as all my other mice from just about every single company, so yeah I agree with him regarding DA.
Not like SS, logitech, roccat, microsoft, mionix, qpad have any better quality. Not on all the Mice I own atleast from those.

i can confirm this. logitech mice are more well built but razer just whips something up quickly and puts a high dpi on and sells it. but i think the deathadder and abyssus may be cheap but track very well and are yet the cheapest compared to the rest of their *crappy* mice (imo) redface.gif

I've had 3 G400's that died on me in under 4 months, while my MX518 lasted for 6+ years. Obviously this is no way of saying all Logitech mouses are bad, as that's not what I believe at all. I do on the other hand believe that the G400 is built poorly. I'm not the only one who also has had problems with the G400 dying quickly, by looking at the Logitech forums, you'll notice people are also having this issue.

Deathadder so far, has been outstanding without a single issue.

If any of you knew just a portion of what goes into a product, you would most likely have a different view point on this subject.
