facepalm

Realy respect SS. They send me free new keycaps for my 6gv2, even without check or any proof that I've bought one.

Yeah, but I cannot actually use the mouse pad. My mouse goes right off of it. I am a low sensitivity gamer and I make very large movements.

In the EU the warranty for the mouse pad is 2 years. In the USA, it is just one year. You are right, I am lucky I got something at all. It's just to bad I cannot fully utilize it.

I have a SX mouse pad currently. It is my fall back pad because, as you said, it never wears. It's a great pad but I have to pick up my mouse every time I move screen to screen.

Doesn't matter if you can use it or not. You got a free mousepad because yours was worn after a year. It would be like asking Michelin some new tires because the ones you have now are worn (assuming normal level of wear for the distance driven)... You see? It's just weird that you would RMA something that costs € / $ 10 - 15 and was just worn out after a year's use . Just buy a new Qck+ and give the Qck to someone else.

To answer your question though SteelSeries customer support is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes they'll reply instantly and other times you'll see no response for weeks. Typically when you get a delayed response they'll apologize for it and send you a free mouse pad (lol) or something.

I have a destructor mouse pad that has seen a couple years of heavy use and it is still looks like it did out of the box.

Lol lucky you

After about 8 months of LIGHT use it tarted to get a bald spot in the middle. Never considered RMAing it.

Two years ago, I made my mousepad in a graphics art class in highschool.. We bought a standard white mousepad from staples for about 2 bucks each and then customized them at the graphic arts room. Hasn't failed me yet tongue.gif

That's why I'll never buy a silly 40 dollar mouse pad and end up like you and your steelseries mousepad. CHEAPER THE BETTER tongue.gif

Sorry for you trouble, but that mouse pad is so cheap, why not just buy a new one? I think after 1 year to be wearied down is perfectly fine especially when it coast. Come on QCK+ only 14pounds....

You are lucky... You deal in Euros... It's like 30 dollars from SteelSeries.
