If you are not overclocking, an i3 would be best.

Of those builds, I liked the i3+7950 (price), but the 670 does offer slightly higher graphics performance.

How high on your list is over clocking? How many monitors do you plan on running?

ocing is not quite high on my list since its been so long and ill just be running one monitor 23 inch at 1920x1080

Then diffently Id go with the I3 with a 77 mobo and the 660

If you're not wanting to overclock, then go Intel. The el cheapo Intel platforms at stock (they're not able to OC anyway) don't perform as well all-around as the AMD platforms we're discussing, but they're as good for gaming since most games use two cores at most.

No real reason to go Z77, H61/67 are perfectly fine for a locked CPU. thumb.gif

For the video card if you want to stick with a 6870 I would go with Sapphire. Just my preference as it seems they seem the less troublesome.
