i picked up a gtx 560 ti 448 core just last week brand new but it would not fit in my case, lucky i found a great deal on a gtx 570 classi for 130$.

but dam it runs hot.

Don't know exactly mate but ocuk currently have a 7950 on for 240 quid which is a great price considering the cheapest 7870 is 220.

I'm buying one of the above but I'm Gona hang on a couple more weeks to see if either card goes sub 200

The 7950 has a 384-bit bus. I have been very pleased with my Gigabyte Windforce 7950; I'd love the price to drop a bit more so I can CFX.

that card would be a worthy upgrade for me.

too poor to upgrade for a long while though. even though ive had this card 3 years now, Im going to have to make it last me another 1 or 2 years =(

7950 will without a doubt be the choice. I hope nobody recommends a 660Ti over a 7950 at identical prices. I don't care if the 660 performs better at stock. Because we all know what happens once they are both overclocked... (and this OCN).

my main concern will always be memory bandwidth. what the point of horse power if you cant do anything with it
