password was changed, and they confirmed it was changed. might need to get another invite for guild i think they denied it lol also changing to server now tongue.gif

they also pretty much destroyed my character, stole everything and all my gold, so deleted character and making anew one... hmmmm what race to choose.

Definitely change your emails password, also if you're using Gmail, please turn on two step verification and use the Android app.

Yup, you can and there's really very little reason not to tbh

Well looks like i can't play anymore :/ my account was banned because of whoever hacked it, was selling my items for real-life money, says account has been terminated and its permanent, so doesn't look like ill be getting it back.. what a crappy christmas already lol, on the bright side, looks like my daughter will be born today.

That's absolutely terrible! Losing your GW2 account is pretty bad too... tongue.gif

Something clearly isn't right with this and they can't be serious since they have to be well aware that your account was accessed from an unauthorized user, I'll see if an email on your behalf can help out ^_^

i got into support, don't email yet tongue.gif see what they got to say first, haha, i said the following in my ticket, its also got a record of previous discussions with them so they can see it was hacked.

"Hi, after just getting my account back after it was hacked, i just logged
into today and it says the following.

"Your Guild Wars 2 Account has been terminated for engaging in or
assisting with gold or item sales for real-world money, which is a breach
of the user agreement rules of conduct. this action is permenant."

As you can see from previous replies in this email, my account was hacked,
and whoever hacked it must have done the above, is there any way i can get
my account back? I had no internet for past few months so i was unable to
play, during this time my account was somehow hacked, I got it back just
yesterday after talking with support and supplying proof of my purchase. i
did not engage in any of the above, why am i getting punished for something
a hacker did with my account that i was out of my power to stop as i had no
internet connection, i don't want to have to buy the game again for
something some low-life did with my account."

*sigh* fine..I was about to bring out the angry letter writing fingers too frown.gif . Hopefully it goes well since they do have a log of locations too so as long as you weren't travelling for work somewhere in China and decided to play a bit of GW2 there....
