Hey guys!

Not looking to sell on here I don't think. Seeing as the 660ti was just released I'm looking at selling my 6850's for a 7870/7950 because there will probably be a price drop..
If it's nothing major, I'll skip and hold off till the 8xxx series.

Anyway, what do you guys think I could sell these for on eBay Australia? I'm hoping for $120 AUD each or more which could be possible. I might just start bidding at $100 each to be safe, what do you guys reckon I'd get for each?

Also what cards can you guys suggest from either..
mwave or PCCG? I'm looking around the $300 being a max mark but the less the better.
Hoping to run BF3 on ultra(ish), I don't mind if I have to turn AA down though.
I might be able to grab a 670 and run if they drop enough tongue.gif

I think $120 would be a fair place to sell those at, you are in Australia after all.

In the $300 market, I'd shoot for a single 7950. You'd be hard pressed to beat that, and considering you're only at 1920x1080, that card will perform amazingly on all games. You should max everything out no problem, except MAYBE AA on BF3 (just use FXAA instead).

Yeah, I've been using FXAA at the moment. My 6850's will run BF3 on high at stock and half ultra/half high overclocked. I'll see what I can do with a 7950 though as that's what I'd really want, I wouldn't mind a GTX670 though but that's $100ish more here.

The reason to upgrade is Crossfire is a tad annoying sometimes, I want to be able to play Skyrim (these are terrible on it) and it's more than double the power and heat. I'll also get top dollar for them still and the upgrade won't cost alot. smile.gif

EDIT: I might be selling these sooner than later.. Found a "Used" 7870 on the eBay for $280 bid.. Best part is that it's like new and it's a MSI Hawk! biggrin.gif
