CPU SMP i5-2500k issues, Calculated PPD WAYYYYYYY off - Page 2

Yeah you're going to have to do 10 units before you start getting the bonus. And I forgot one more thing, you need to complete at least 80% of all the SMP units you get on that passkey to be able to get bonus points. That shouldn't be an issue though, unless your OC is not stable.

Yea I've never had a WU fail with my CPU overclock. Ug, I'll give it a try. Thanks guys!

edit: So I just got home and apparently there was no passkey in the SMP setup. UGGG! I could have SWORN that I put it in there...dunno what gives. So I entered the passkey and put it also in the client folder just to make sure I typed it correctly. When I search the stanford site by passkey my name comes up and its got all my WU's...so we'll see if it gives me bonus points this time. I figure I have to wait for 10 though. But oddly enough my TPF used to be around 18minutes, down its down to 5minutes so I dunno whats going on..lol

Thanks for the help guys. I've basically been folding on my CPU for like no points whatsoever...ug

Should I be able to see my user passkey or ID when I start the SMP folding client? Like when it starts its normal stuff at the top before it enters the WU?

Well I think it calculated the Bonus with a SMP client finishing lastnight...
08.17, 12am 4,947 1

When I look at my work viewer it looks like no GPU finished till like after the 3am refresh and my GPU units are always 5187points. So I figure 4.947 is my CPU unit and my GPU unit will show up here on the refresh...hopefully.

Edit: I believe the passkey worked!!!!!!!!!! 4,947pts for SMP then 5,187 for GPU!!!! Yea! Back in business! I'm goin on some vaca till Monday night so I'll hopefully rack up some good points this weekend and for the foldathon. Usually I rarely fold on the weekend, give my PC a rest, but now that I've got my points figured out, fold away! My 4+2phase Mobo is workin like a champ at 4.5GHz...lol

Below are my point totals for the last 3 days - the 14th was my first 10 WU, so don't bother looking at that one. Does this look right to you for folding on a 3770k? I have no idea, so I just want to make sure I have everything set up correctly. It looks like my first "real" day of folding with all bonus points was 31,140. Also, I am going camping this weekend and a little nervous about leaving the computer on and folding while no one is home for 2.5 days.

Be honest, would you shut it off until you returned?

08.16.12 31,140 17
08.15.12 21,444 20
08.14.12 2,819 5

Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry! I meant to make a new thread and not hijack. redface.gif
