So , i think i got it figured.
After 3 hours it seems that i"ve got myself a stable system.

Now i'm @ 3.570Ghz.
And went up a 100 points (exactly) on the passmark test.

Tomorrow i'l start to finetune everything , but it's 00.30 here in belgium ,
and i'm gonna call it a night.

i7 870 is still an awesome chip, I can get mine to 4.0 - 4.3 GHz with a ***** motherboard. At 4.0 GHz it does everything I want it to do. I don't plan to upgrade before Haswell come out.
Also suggestions to upgrading to Bloomfield is pointless since it is the same arc. unless you plan going SLI/ CF since P55 can't do 16x/16x like X58 I see it is pointless. you will hardly see any gain since both are the same clock for clock.

Passmark tests the whole system I believe,so your RAM and your OS HDD's are going to affect the score. Even a 15kRPM disk can't compare to an SSD in scoring,by a lot.

I've got it running yesterday on my SSD's.

Passmark score went to 3330Points.
And the 3Dmark 2011 went from 8006 to 8604 points.

So i think after a bit of overclocking , and the SSD's ,
my system is allot faster!
Even in games!

BF3 loading times are stupidly fast biggrin.gif
Diablo 3 is mutch faster.

I should have done this a year ago smile.gif

So your score went up more than 1500 points just from moving to the SSD? Unreal! I guess it's time for me to move to SSD as well.

Allmost everyting went up!
Even the CPU stats had a 25% to 45 % increase!

Just to be clear, you can't upgrade from a 1156 chip to a 1366 chip without replacing your motherboard. Glad to hear the SSD is working it's magic.
