Question about dual core opties

So I have been having some problems getting this 3700+ past 2850 or so stable, I know for sure that its not stable at the moment but I did want to see what my board could handle. I have it at 9x333 at the moment, ram is on the 133- about 430mhz at the moment. 1.55v, I'm going to take off my IHS tonight I think, definately not getting temps I'd like to see (50c load, hoping for under 45 after no IHS- which may help make it stable).

I'm pretty sure I'll be gonig to a 165 soon, now that I know for sure my board can handle 9x333 (100% stable at 9x 310, hoping its my CPU thats not stable atm).

I was wondering what temps everybody is getting, or how much temps have went up from stock 1.8ghz - 2.8ghz+.

Me to, would be even more on a 165. Hopefully if I upgrade I'll beable to do this safely on it.

@2.95 I was in the mid fifties also. That was with a Zalman7000B cooler, the temps on the DC Opty shoot up pretty quick when OCing. I dont think I ever ran it at stock
