Just installed a new Seasonic PSU last night and when I booted up I noticed the CPU was running way hot. (3.8 @ 1.5v) Like 52c at idle. It usually stays around 38/39 when tooling around the desktop. I checked to make sure my fans where working good, and the H60 is still pumping, no noises. The PSU comes with a 4+4 CPU power connector (non modular), and a modular 8 pin CPU connector. Looks like they are wired the same so I just used the 4+4 cable. The only other thought is I did move the case around a bit, and had it on its side, and I have heard that the H60 may have air pockets that might need to settle. Not sure. So far I have reset voltages back to stock and the CPU @ 3.4 and the idle temps go down to 40c. Ran Prime 95 with these settings and temps maxed to 62. This morning when I turned it on, the BIOS PC Health status said temp was @33 and voltages were norm, but after booting up, temps are back to 40c at idle. Any ideas.

Most probably power-saving features are disabled. Check your Windows power plan, and if "High perf", switch to "Balanced". Else, enable C&Q in BIOS (I suppose that's an AMD CPU, no?).

Never mind, I had a brain fart. The second fan on the rad was in backwards. Push/Push haha.
Temps are nice and low now.
Putting your computer back together at 3 in the morning has its draw-backs.
