Did I miss it, or is there no "GTX 660" without the "ti" desgnation, like the 560?

Also, has anyone seen one yet with the power connectors coming out of the back instead of the top? My case doesn't like the connectors coming out the top. Can't get the lid on.

560/550 are apparently coming in September.

To me 670 is still the best price/performance card. It can match the 7970 even at ultra high resolutions with lesser memory bandwidth. I am actually looking at either 7970 or 670 on my next upgrade. smile.gif

Yeah, I'm pending to change the thread title. I read several sources that stated 660 vanilla would launch today as well...

It is good to see non-reference cards priced about the same as reference ones.
The Gigabyte Winforce seems the best one IMO, Asus had so much problems with DCII 7970s & GTX 670s.
Plus their 7970 is the only voltage locked 7970.

The OC'd MSI for only $10 over reference is pretty tasty as well.

Edit: Add in the $10 MIR for the MSI card and it's now the same price as reference.

That's what I'm thinking too.

IMO the Borderlands 2 game coupon is what makes this card worth getting...

The people looking at the Hard OCP review need to look closer.

The first three games were tested with FXAA and that is the only reason its performance was so close to 670/7950 levels.

On the Witcher 2 and Skyrim where they used AA it fell 10 FPS behind a 670.

I have a GB 670 that overclocks like a champ and am happy with my purchase.

How ever if my purchase was being made now their is no way I would take a 660 TI over a 7950 when at the same price.

Overclocked 7950's are great and for the price can't be beat.
