GTX 660 Ti vs. GTX 670 - Page 2

But the 660 ti is crippled on certain games by the cut off memory bandwidth. Games like batman, AVP, it gets creamed by the much cheaper 7870 2GB card.

Was actually asking what would be a "better choice". I think you understood that from the very beginning, yes?

Will be interesting to see how the GTX660Ti performs on GPUGRID. Planning on upgrading from a GTX460 shortly and not sure which one to go for, a 660ti or a 670.

Better choice for what? You provided no specifics. I just don't see the point of a thread like this. As I said before. I'm astonished. I think you already know the answer to your own question.

Better bang-for-the-buck for overall (general) gaming solution, that's it.

Well I can suggest the Galaxy 660Ti GC edition, which costs about $340 and gives peformance better than the HD 7950, and is only slightly worse than the GTX 670 reference. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162119

Just to add , all 600 cards should of at least had 3gb of memory.

SLI doesn't add the memory Together, it would still be only 2GB of Graphics memory.

Why Not Spend the $60 more and get the EVGA 670 FTW, which is an incredibly strong card.

They seem to be the same card. The only difference is the Memory Interface. The 660 Ti has 192-bit interface while the 670 is at 256. The (my) question is, is that difference worth $100?

My 470 still smokes BF3 maxed out. =)

BUT I do want to make an upgrade to the 660ti before 2013.
Would never buy the 660, certainly not multiple.... the bandwidth on the 670/680 is already a disappointment, last thing I would want is to buy a card that's even further crippled.
