Ahem Supreme commander was a cheap wannabe rip off of total annihilation.. supreme commander 2 was even worse.

TA was and still IS the best RTS game that ever existed. And Ive played most of them. This is the first time IVE backed a kickstarter too. And Ive seen some really good ones. But this needs to happen!

I still play TA every now and then!! I play Kingdoms too, which is more or less okay, but nothing compared to the TA that most are familiar with.

Not to nitpick, but the people who made Supreme Commander were the same people who made Total Annihilation.

I might have to get my copy of Supreme Commander out again, we used to have LAN parties where we'd only use nuclear weapons. Way too much fun. I never did play the second one though.

What that guy said. Supreme Commander was made by most of the people who did Total Annihilation, without having access to the rights and whatnot. They changed it, as they needed to since the game was 10 years old by then... but yeah. Same people tongue.gif

This however is an entirely different group.

Mott555: don't bother with supreme commander 2. Was horrible and doesn't deserve the name.

The Nuke-redirector that the Cybran have is such a mean weapon to use, but I love it!

Kickstarter - Where the REAL game developers who care about the community rise

I'd rather spent countless dollars on these kickstarter projects than to give my money to greedy companies like EA and Activision
