I was wondering if there was some sort of aftermarket coating I could spray or rub on with a cotton swab which would make my screen protector resistant to fingerprints and such. I ran some quick google searches and didn't find anything besides pre-coated screen protectors. Anybody know of something? Finger prints drive me nuts and I use my phone like it's my job, the two don't line up well.

Some people have seen good results with RainX. It will reduce fingerprints and smudges for about 3 days to a week between coatings, possibly more or less depending on your application and screen protector.
For s&g's I put a coating on my Galaxy Note and it did increase the smudge protection for a couple days. Made the screen feel extremely smooth/glassy, but I don't want to have to keep applying that chemical to my screen.
I'm going to try car wax later today- should work even better. I'll post back with some results.

Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax actually does a good job (for me) for a few days if not a week on my screen protector.
It's kind of a pain to constantly apply weekly but the screen protector does feel smoother and seems to be more finger-print resistant
