Hey guys, What do you think about the Razer Taipan gaming mouse?
I May buy one if people think its good.I do find from some pictures that it looks very slim, but i could be completely wrong.... So What are your guys thoughts on this mouse?

Also I may as well add What do you guys think about the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Elite 2013 keyboard, I love the look of it and the last BlackWidow was very popular, I just wanted some feedback before i go spending $140+ dollars on a keyboard.

I've tried it at a friends house and the design didn't fit me well. I tried different grip styles but kept on hitting buttons on the opposite side of the mouse. I'm right handed and claw grip normally. The sensor felt smooth though and didn't skip on me or anything and this was using an xtrac mousepad but never tried to set it to 8200 dpi. Overall felt comfortable for the half hour I was using it but I didn't like the side butons on both sides.

Not sure about the keyboard but for that price you could basically buy a Filco.

Hmmm.. Well I'm not too sold on this mouse so far..
But I am on the Keyboard it's more the aesthetic I'm looking at and it's exactly what I want, but also if anyone else can find something that has basically the same look, blue or green and maybe Red LED backlit then it'd be appreciated.

The mouse is a tad bit smaller than the SteelSeries Sensei overall. So if you use a fingertip/claw grip I would say give it ago. You can always return it if you don't like it. smile.gif

As for the keyboard, are you sure that you like Blue switches? For gaming, they aren't every bodies cup of tea, though personally I love them for pretty much everything. See if you can try the Black Widow out before you buy it.

If it's the backlighting that you like about the BW, then take a look at Ducky shines. You can choose from a variety of colours and also which switches you like too. Albeit they are quite expensive, especially for me since I live in the UK.

They also have a limited edition keyboard out atm, which is what I just ordered. You can customize the backlighting, which is pretty sweet. http://tigerimports.net/sunshop/index.php?l=product_list&c=73

BlackWidows were only popular to Razer fanboys, they are not good mechanical keyboards for the price. If you are buying a mechanical keyboard for looks then you are buying it for the wrong reason. You should do some research and figure out which SWITCH TYPE you want. That is the important part about a mechanical keyboard, not its looks.

Yes, I understand this. Could anyone recommend another keyboard that LOOKS similar to this one but is better quality?
